My new adventure.....

I bought an accoustic/electric guitar today. I decided I needed to channel my emotions and energy into something good and I think music soothes the soul so thus this purchase.  Plus I thought it would be cool to jam with my big bro someday when I'm awesome like him (hahahaha!  like maybe when I'm 80).

I also admit to the fact that I bought it to annoy my noisy upstairs neighbors.  The next time they decide it's ok to wake me up at 5:30 on a Sunday morning by vacuuming and stomping around, the amp is getting cranked and I'm going to jam out to my own music that even aliens couldn't handle (insert insane laughter here).

But I do feel this will be a good thing because I've always wanted to play ever since I was a little girl.  My dad was totally awesome at it, my brother is totally awesome at it, so the talent has GOT to be in ME too, right?

I'm SO looking forward to my first lesson.  =)

    Is it a Washburn?? I almost got Erin one very much like that one--but it was green. This was years ago. He's an awesome guitarist too.

    Do you think they'll notice the noise you're making if they're already up? Maybe start twanging when you think they just went to bed.

    Thank you guys and dolls ;) My bro has pointed me in the direction of a few online lessons so I won't have to pay the outrageous prices that local music stores are charging. Plus he said he'll teach me a few things when I'm home for Christmas. Bonus! =) I'm totally stoked about this! =)

    that's wonderful Chicky!! How fun. I used to play the guitar when I was in highschool - I took lessons and my boyfriend at the time also played and let me borrow his electric guitar since he had more than one. It was so fun. Now I can't even hold the string down with out my fingers feeling like they will bleed out. LOL Hope you will love it.
